For couple's 1-15 to their 20,25,30,35,40...60,65, and 75th anniversaries, they give each other gifts from paper to tin and silk to gold.
Who made this list and when? And is the same list used world wide?

At my sister in laws baby shower this weekend, Whom should I put in charge of keeping track and writing down the gifts she receives from everyone, for thank you cards. Neither Grandmothers to be, should do it in my opinon, that way they can enjoy the baby shower as much as her, they are also older. There will be about 40 people there, and Daddy to be will be there as well. Any suggestions are helpful thank you!

I am shopping for christmas gifts for my sisters and i am allowed to spend dollars each.
I am obsessed with miniature things (i know its weird) so i though i could make both of my sisters a basket with an assortment of mini things, but i don't know where i could find some. does anyone know of a website?

My English family would like to give something to a French family. Usually when we get gifts, it's wine, chocolate, or a delicacy from the area. So in England, we can't really give them wine or chocolate, because we don't really make them specially.

My daughter is having her first baby, and I am planning a baby shower for her. The problem is, she lives close to 3000 miles away and we are planning the party here. If she receives gifts, it would be very hard for her to get them back home. What should I do about asking for money gifts? Thanks for any help.

We're getting married next week, and we plan to give our 5 bridesmaids, 5 groomsmen, grandparents and parents their gifts at the rehearsal dinner...We hare having a large rehearsal with about 40 people (lots of out of towners) so I am not sure how to go about handing the gifts out...Do I announce that we are handing them out? Do I give them to the wedding party during dinner, before dinner, after dinner? Do I have to make a formal toast?

What are gifts that are nice but not too expensive?
