The no gifts please on the invitation is a good idea…

or, pick a charity that means something to you and have people donate to it in the childrens’ name.

Write "please..no gifts" on the invitations.
Or.."no gifts, just bring yourlselves"!

Be honest about it on the invitation that you’d rather the guests not bring gifts. Then say if theyd really like to so something, donate to this charity in their names. You just have ot pick one that you’d like, or let them, whatever works, it’s a good thing either way. But then they feel like they are giving when they already know they would be giving a gift to a child. They expected to go spend money have them spend it in a different way if they insist.

Its a tradition that on everybirthday, invited guest bring a gift!
If you ask them not to bring a gift they will feel like their gift is not good enought for your kids and you will be breaking tradition.

I always take care to call up all my guest to invite them personally, in due time also talk wid them how I dislike peoples choice of buying things, dat my choice and others really differ. I convey to them dat how I really detest their choice or brand. How I didnt like the types of gifts in past and didnt like any of them but remember to cut through the message indirectly. Just try to indirect convince them that how much they try u not gonna like any gift u will be getting. Just try this theory it worked many times for me. Trust will be really going to think before they buy a gift for u. Nobody will give u anything which u are not gonna appreciate………….
